DDDE model + Project Planning

DDDE model is what I do when I plan your projects.

The first thing to do is DECIDE what the goals are. You can't do anything without first setting some goals.

For this project the DECIDE has pretty much been done for you: You are creating a multimedia presentation about a poet, including walking us through a poem annotation. It's a culmination of all the skills we've been working on this year.

The DESIGN portion of this project has been partially covered for you. I've designed the basics of what is included, but you need to design how you are presenting and what tools you are using.

DEVELOPing the project means actually going through the process and putting it into action.

Finally, you will EVALUATE yourself to see how you did. What did you learn from the process? What tools did you love? hate? You will also evaluate your classmates' projects looking at not only the content but seeing what tools and tricks they used.

In addition to the project content, you need to include

Two uses of graphics

One video

One hypermedia document

In order to do this, you need to PLAN out what you are going to do. The first project checkpoint, you will need to show me your planning stage.

Try using one of these digital planning tools

Storyboardthat which will allow you to make a digital storyboard to plan your project. This is helpful for visual people.

Google Keep allows you to make lists to help plan your project. You may find it helpful to use lists to make sure your're doing everything and sublists to check off the different tasks.

SlideStory is another website that can help you plan your project, including saving the pictures and videos you want to use.
