Yes and no. It really depends on what you do with it. If you just have text and nothing else, then it's not multimedia.
Does this mean you can't use slides or power point? No, but I'd like you to go beyond that with this project. Try something different. We'll get into the other options on the video slide.
Think of multimedia presentation as the difference between reading just the text on a plain piece of paper versus reading the text, seeing video, AND hearing someone explain the text. It engages more parts of your brain, and is a lot more interesting.
